Good-Bye 2021!!

What a year it was!

I wanted to take a moment to say thank you to my patients new and old for supporting me through this one, it was a doozy!

I could not have gotten through this year without all of your understanding and compassion. Even in those moments where I was not as available as I would have liked to have been, you all took time to reach out with care and concern and I honestly wouldn't have been able to handle this year without you.

So, what is on the docket for 2022?!

Here are the updates...

First things first, the clinic is open again but the hours have changed a bit to accommodate new patients in different time zones. I will also be running a clinic in Cape Town as of February, the clinic will be held at different locations throughout the city, I will keep you posted with where and when I will be out and about.

Secondly, it has become increasingly difficult for me to remain accessible to my patients via telegram and email, which I do not enjoy, because I really do enjoy our chats. So, I will be setting aside time once a week (Tuesdays) to review questions and/or concerns which I will respond to as soon as possible.

I also wanted you all to know that while Teleport, the software I use through the booking service provided is HIPAA compliant, Telegram and other messaging apps are not, meaning that I cannot guarantee that your information will remain safe and secure if it is sent via these portals. This is why, from now on I will only be connecting with all of you via a booked called, so that I can further assist and direct you in the best way forward with safety and security in mind.

Anything that is treatment related will have to be addressed in a follow-up or scheduled call - for existing patients the 15/20minute complimentary call can be used, if it is just a check in or a question, however we will have to stick to the 15/20 minute limit. I now have an assistant that will be monitoring my emails, she will let me know if there is something that needs to be reviewed by me and handling all other business enquiries as well as mentorship one-on-one scheduling, she can also answer simple questions regarding treatment as she is a Homeopathic Student or can refer more in-depth questions to me in a timely fashion.

Third, I have created a Discord Page, now this is by invite only, although you can reach out to Marty (my assistant) via the Coco Holistix email to get the link to join. It has just been set up and I am in the process of learning how to use it efficiently and populate it with useful information, please be patient with me. I will be online twice a week for about an hour or two, this will usually be at about 11am EST on a Monday & Wednesday and/or at about 3-5pm EST depending on my clinic schedule with days to be announced in advance, so keep your eye on social media. On Wednesdays I will be working with students only on Discord but if you are a patient and would like to sit in I am fine with that and when I do have a bit of free time I will try to let everyone know in advance that I will hop into the chat room to discuss anything at all.

Fourth, yes there is quite a bit of housekeeping to cover this year, when in doubt always book a Complimentary Consultation. For the most part Marty will be taking care of the company email now, just in case you don't have it cocoholistix@gmail.com and will be forwarding all necessary correspondence to me personally at cocoholistix@outlook.com if I need to review it, so please double check that you have both emails saved so any responses don't end up in junk.

Fifth, (hahah didn't think I would get here), I will be posting fictional cases, based on an older TV show (which I cannot name, but the title of the show is in the name, wink wink) once a week or so. The write up of the case will go onto the blog of my website, with the rubrics I have selected, but the discussion of the cases will happen on Discord. I want to preface that different Homeopaths will work through cases differently and will select rubrics based on their training, this is how I work a case and have had great success with my patients following a few simple rules. The cases from the TV show are fairly complex but the case work does not need to be in order for you to understand the basic mechanics of Homeopathic Practice and Case Work.

In March I will be launching a simple book/booklet to help those at home prescribers that have difficulty working through acutes and will have an accompanying course so explain the work book and how to best utilize it. I will keep you posted on that as well. Again, I cannot stress enough how incredibly tough the end of this year was for me and my family and I would not have been able to keep my head above water without all of your amazing support and understanding, so, on that note!
